Janie and Jack carry the sweetest childrens clothes and accessories. I remember being very pregnant and running into a Janie and Jack shop in Florida to buy an entire coming home outfit for Liam to wear from the hospital. I haven’t stopped shopping with them since. Whenever I need either holiday outfits or fun basics with great quality I look to them.
One of my favorite things about the holidays is getting everybody dressed up for either photos, parties or special dinners. Planning the boys outfits was so much fun this year because my oldest son, Liam helped along. While I don’t want the boys to match I do love a good color story to stick with so that their looks compliment each other. The online shop also carry sizes up to 12!
I took a lot of his input because the kid knows what he likes…Ha! We decided on a dressy casual look with a grey fair isle cardigan (pls make this in my size!) a classic plaid button down and laidback navy cords. He picked his white leather sneakers because you know, comfy always wins!
Choosing a similar look for Declan was just as easy. The gray cable knit sweater was too irresistible with those elbow patches, I mean elbow patches are the best, am I right? I paired it with a pocket tee in a bright red and white stripe, I figured it would be fuss free for my very active 3 year old. I went with the deer corduroy bottoms because I loved that mixed pattern and textured look. The little beanie was also so cute, he still likes to wear hats and I’ve got to take advantage of that till he decides he doesn’t anymore. To complete his look I chose the grey suede booties.
The best part of this was how excited the boys were when their goodies arrived. They even got dressed together! These outfits were holiday perfect and I cannot wait till Declan is big enough to wear Liam’s outfit.
Check out Janie and Jack and let me know which are some of your favorite gifts for the little ones!
